Making your own action..??????

Everyone knows Courtney and I are action freaks but I have no idea how to do my own. I'd like to make one to put a border around my images that I post on my blog. Right now I'm manually doing it and it's taking FOREVER!!!! Can someone volunteer to give me some guidance on how to do it? I'd like to do 2 colors, such as a small white border surrounded by a bigger black border.
Thanks a million!!

Yo Mandy!

I did this exact thing that you are asking about for my pics I post on my blog. If you can hold out until the wedding I'm shooting with you I can show you how it's done. I'll try to find you some info on how to do this.

Okay, open your image, then start recording your action. Duplicate the image, click the add a layer style button and select stroke.Change to inner position, and change to white, and adjust to size you like. Then click okay. Then goto image, canvas size, enter size in inches (.5 works good for low res images.) Center anchored with the relative box checked amd select black as your color. Your done. Stop recording and you have your saved action.
